Philosophy

Ventus Investments views multifamily investments as a more stable and recession-resistant asset class, as compared to other property types. Due to their large tenant bases, multifamily properties are not affected by individual vacancies, and because of the short-term nature of their leases owners can react more quickly to changing economic conditions. It is our view that housing, especially workforce housing targeted to the blue-collar worker, will always be a mainstay of the American economy.

Methodology

We take a targeted approach to each acquisition using a proprietary risk-based analytical model to determine when to enter, and exit, certain select markets within our geographic boundaries. Specifically, we are targeting second and third-tier cities with a depth of housing demand, solid long-term economic fundamentals, population growth, and a robust employment sector.
